INSPIRE ARTISTRY’S TECH HOUSE ARTIST, MALIKI RELEASES HIS FIRST EP, ‘TAKE PLACE’
Inspire Artistry’s local hero, Maliki sets the tone for your summer anthem. Showcasing more than deep and tech house music, Maliki continued to produce his signature sound with his first EP, Take Place releasing in August 2018.
When we talk about tech house, Maliki is a powerhouse in the music scene. Behind the deck since 2005, Maliki’s breakthrough is shown through his brilliant performance for JUICE DJ Quest in 2007 and Ravelex Dance Music Award in 2008. Joining Inspire Artistry in 2016, Maliki, under the name of Yesterday Afternoon Boys as a duo along with Deefo, constantly produces high-quality sounds. His marvelous remixes made it possible for him to share the stage with numerous world-renowned DJs, such as Kaskade, Richie Hawtin, Rasmus Faber, Grant Nelson and many more.
Growing in the electronic music scene, Maliki tries to find his own identity in the industry. His journey and exploration of finding his signature sound is projected through his first EP, Take Place. The EP is where the newness and innovation take place. It consists of three dance, yet chill tracks, namely “Midnight Diva”, “Dumbo Roars” and “Dance Alert”.
Maliki used a progressive approach when he created the EP. The groundbreaking hybrid of techno and house in his three exciting tracks sounds fresh, with intriguing vocals and beats. Keep your ears open for this up-and-coming producer as the EP will take a special place on your playlist.
