Working in all areas of the kitchen depending on the daily requirement of Chef De Partie & Sous Chef.
Responsible for all culinary dishes that are prepared in all sections.
Follows all company food hygiene and health and safety policy.
To aid in achieving food cost, kitchen standard and overall objectives and helping DCDP and Commi Chefs learn to improve ability.
To check the completeness of all suppliers’ deliveries and the correctness of invoices.
To liaise with the Sous Chef with reference to possible improvements/difficulties in the section.
To set out, maintain and monitor high standards of cooking and presentation.
To relay customer feedback and complains to the station chef and line cooks for review and rectifications.
Ensuring Unit kitchen is left clean and tidy at all times.
Assist the Sous Chef in crosschecking the cleanliness and maintenance schedule.
To ensure that all completed tasks are fully checked before leaving the unit.
To work closely with Sous Chef and other station chefs at each event to ensure that the function runs smoothly.
Close liaison with the Restaurant Manager & Sous Chef with regards to service and timings.
Oversees the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals, ensure that all the dishes are prepared as per the standard operating procedures.
Helps ensure that the station chefs and line cooks complies and are aware of responsibilities in respect of food hygiene system, health and safety in the workplace and have the minimum qualifications and training to work in a kitchen environment.
Kitchen team complies with the policy on personal hygiene and uniform.
Records the food and supplies wastages.
Receive the goods, checks the quality and delegates subordinates proper storage.
Ensure that raw materials order are forecasted properly and orders are placed.
To make sure that team is aware and executes the SOPs, FIFO systems and other policies.
Job Requirements
Thorough knowledge of culinary skills and expertise of handling kitchen operation.

Great cooking abilities.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Full day availability is required, flexible schedule.
Should expect to work flexible hours
Computer skills in Word and Excel are a plus
Fluent in English.
