• Setting up, cleaning and organizing of designated work station
• Preparation of food in accordance to outlined quantities
• Cooking of food in accordance with approved recipes and any food safety guidelines
• Ensure good personal hygiene is maintained
• Report any quality issues to direct supervisor
• Assisting other stations where required
• Ensuring FIFO of all materials utilized
• Correct storage and labelling of all food products in accordance with standards set by QA/QC team
• Designation of other tasks to be completed by cook helpers in assisting production
• 2 years experince in F&B catering organisation.
• Culinary certificate in Commercial cookery or local equivalent (preferable)
• Good understang of food safety practices
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Flexible working hours
• Able to lift a minimum of 20kg unassisted.
• Able to work on feet for extended periods of time
